but it's my bday...

Ok so the obnoxiousness ends with the title, but some mild sappiness lies ahead. Be forewarned.
Two hours into my 20th bday, the fire alarm goes off and Michael frantically runs into our room saying it's a real fire we need to evacuate. We end up staying outside while fire fighters casually check out the area and determine that all the smoke was just caused by two fire extinguishers being discharged all over the place. However apparently these chemicals are poisonous or something so we have to stand outside for an hour while they do whatever they do, and then we sneak back early because Yi, as usual, disregards personal safety advice for the comfort of his own bed.
So we finally get back to bed at 3:30 and wake up at 7:30 for a chinese quiz at 8.

Good thing the rest of the day and entire weekend was most excellent.

I am a lucky guy in many regards, and for this I am most appreciative.
