Is there such thing as having too much loyalty?

Loyalty can be quantified? That's an issue in and of itself. I've always felt loyalty was a black or white matter.

Absolutely. Nazis. Jonestown. And those are only on the grander scale. When loyalty blinds you and makes you become a human being that is unable to think and act for itself, it is no longer a black and white issue. That is what I would call a robot.

My question is. What is your definition of loyalty?

If you think about unconditional love and staying loyal to your spouse or family, the issue is GREY GREY GREY. Should a wife remain loyal to her husband who molests their own daughter? Sometimes WHO we remain loyal to must change in order to protect the ones we love. I do, however, believe everyone in this world deserves forgiveness from some being or another (perhaps by a stranger that can convince them to change their ways).
